![]() ![]() Oh and by the way, planets under the dominators control have a way slower tech level advancement so the only way to power up the Coalition (aside from directly investing to military ships and stations) is to liberate moar systems. The derivative from PTL is a Galactic Tech Level, which mostly dictates dominator loot and, I think, Black Hole drops. The "rate" of which the planet is advancing through them depends on its race (maloqs have the worst, while gaals - the best), regime, size and population. How exactly having good relationships with pirates was impossible?Įvery planet has a Planetary Tech Level which dictates available equipment for both NPCs and the player. I found it interesting that in A War Apart such thing can happen, that's why I'm curious if there's any way for us to get actual numbers and information on Economy/Finance/Status of the factions. I've then joined the Pirates to try and destroy them from within, and all the while the Coalition remains 'broken' and apparently spending all their have reconstructing military ships. ![]() ![]() If I help the Coalition grow by retaking Dominator territory, the Pirates will jump in a few days and kill everything - only leaving minimal territory to the Coalition.Įventually, Coalition stopped giving me missions - I even tried to do trading (I never really tried trading in SR2), but the economy is bad unless I keep good relations with pirate systems - which was impossible. Still, anyone knows if there's a way to get actual info on the Coalition/Empires or Rangers?įor instance, in my game, the Coalition is pretty much broke. I really like the simulation on this game, even though most things are simply spawned instead of 'produced'. ![]()
